eCourts is a web based application that is designed to allow attorneys, in good standing, to electronically file documents with the courts. The Judiciary's plans for full implementation of eCourts in all trial court divisions are underway. The plan to modernize our systems is built on the following four essential functionalities:

Prosecutors, Public Defenders and Private Attorneys
What can be filed?
Motions, motion-related filings, and other Criminal documents that do not require a filing fee.*

All NJ licensed attorneys in good standing are mandated to file electronically effective January 1, 2018
All documents can be filed except those for Court's Eyes Only which must be submitted in paper.
Filers can pay applicable filing fees with a JACS account (Judiciary Account Charge System) or by credit card. Filers who use a credit card will be charged a service fee. Click here for the list of Fees.
NOTE: The credit card payment service is unavailable from 11:30 PM until midnight daily. If you are paying filing fees by credit card, to receive today's filing date, you must submit your filing before 11:30 PM.

Case Jacket Access is available to the County Board of Taxation, Municipal Clerk, and Municipal Assessor. You can find the Tax Court case jacket access request form here.
