Parenting Coordinator Program

I am a family lawyer, mediator and collaborative divorce practitioner who is licensed to practice law in New Jersey. I strive to assist individuals and couples to resolve their differences without destroying their families. By using creative and out of the box thinking, I work with clients to develop solutions that they can live with and feel good about.

Dr. Hagovsky is a licensed psychologist with over forty years of education, training and experience providing forensic evaluative and treatment services in New Jersey. These include Custody and Best Interests Evaluations, Parenting Coordination, parent-child reconciliation, family therapy, as well as parenting education and co-parenting counseling.

I have been practicing Family Law since 1996. In addition to significant litigation and trial experience gained through my practice, I am also a Qualified Mediator and have been trained in Collaborative Law.

As an attorney with 30 years of experience primarily in Family Practice, I am well equipped to address high conflict matters involving children and parents. I have been appointed as a Guardian Ad Litem by the courts on numerous occasions and have been successful in helping children. I have a track record of assisting clients in navigating complex family law issues and finding workable solutions. I am passionate about heling families find common ground and reaching agreements that are in the best interests of their children. Being a parent coordinator allows me to use my skills to positively impact the lives of families in need. 

Carmen Diaz, Esq. is a Divorce and Family law attorney with over 15 years of experience dealing with high conflict parenting matters. Through her practice, Ms. Diaz aims to help families resolve issues of conflict efficiently and thoughtfully. Ms. Diaz has extensive experience assisting families with children with special needs navigate the unique complexities of their case. 

Having worked in education for over 25 years serving children of all ages, combined with my current roles as an educational advocate and expert in school program assessments, I am uniquely qualified to help parents with post divorce disputes. My goal is to obtain better outcomes for children. 

Ms. Legband devotes her practice to family law and has served as a parenting coordinator and mediator for many years, both privately and court appointed. She is Past President of Somerset County Bar Association and former Chair of Somerset County Family Law Committee. Ms. Legband was co-founder of the custody mediation program in Somerset County.

Carla has practiced exclusively family law for over thirty years. In addition to completing the Parent Coordinator Program, she is also collaboratively trained. Carla, a single parent, understands raising children in a divorce situation, and aspires to aid families in making the transition as easy as possible.  

As a Parenting Coordinator, I specialize in helping families navigate co-parenting challenges through effective communication and tailored parenting plans. With a background in mediation and family support, I am dedicated to fostering a positive environment that prioritizes children's well-being and empowers parents to resolve conflicts collaboratively. 

Aaron Cohen is a seasoned family law attorney. He is a Co-Chair of the Bergen County Bar Association's Family Law Committee, Chair of the Bergen County Matrimonial Early Settlement Panel Program, and Co-Founder of the Bergen County FD Settlement Conference Program. He has litigated many cases involving custody/parenting time issues. 

Dr. Donahue is a Psychologist specializing in forensic and clinical psychology. Expertise centers around helping families achieve adaptive outcomes through improved communication, compromise, and perspective taking. Continually pursuing professional development to advance professional skills, she utilizes a solution-focused and child-centric approach.

I’m a trained mediator, experienced with high conflict cases. My goal is to resolve issues swiftly to avoid motions that only increases legal fees on both sides. I will do my best to get you working together in the best interests of your children. 

For 30 years, Ms. Huckerby has exclusively devoted her practice to family law including divorce proceedings, post judgment litigation, and appellate practice. She served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable John Sweeney, A.J.S.C. (retired). 

As a certified divorce mediator and domestic violence advocate, I bring a unique perspective to parenting coordination. My AFCC and NJAPM memberships reflect my commitment to helping parents collaboratively resolve conflict, prioritizing their children's well-being for efficient and positive outcomes.

Carole Hafferty has completed the New Jersey Family Mediation Training Course and the New Jersey Parenting Coordinator training. She has served as a private mediator, Early Settlement Panelist, and practices Family Law. She is experienced in family law matters involving parenting time disputes and resolutions.

Bruce has practiced divorce and family law for over 30 years. He has mediated close to 2000 divorce and family law disputes and has served as a Guardian ad Litem for children appointed by the court.
