Lisa F. Chrystal - Parenting Coordinators

Judge Chrystal served as a Superior Court Judge for 22 years before retiring in 2022. From 2014 until retirement, she served as Presiding Judge of the Family Division in Union County. She received her PC certification in 2024 through the NJICLE Specialized Parenting Coordinator Training. She is also a certified mediator, having completed NJICLE trainings for Basic Mediation in 1999 and Family Mediation in 2024, and is listed on the Roster of Mediators for Economic Aspects of Family Law Cases. Judge Chrystal uses the skills from her judicial career to motivate parents to focus on the best interests of their children. Virtual sessions are conducted as needed and including counsel if beneficial. The parties set the agenda and suggest resolutions and Judge Chrystal provides recommended decisions based on experience and the children’s best interests.
