Amendments to the Rules of Court
The following rules and appendices have been amended by the Supreme Court July 5, 2000. These rule amendments, which become effective September 5, 2000, are the results of the Court's consideration of the rule recommendations in the 1998-2000 reports of its rules committees.
Included in this material are the rule amendments implementing the Civil best practices previously approved in concept by the Court (in its July 28, 1999 Administrative Determinations on the Report of the Conference of Civil Presiding Judges on Standardization and Best Practices). Because they collectively redefine Civil case management, the set of
Civil standardization/best practices rules have been republished separately, along with a detailed narrative describing
the new system and procedures.
