NOTICE TO THE BAR
MULTICOUNTY LITIGATION APPLICATION - NEW JERSEY STATE COURT DANIEL'S LAW LITIGATION
The Supreme Court has received an application pursuant to Directive #02-19, "Multicounty Litigation Guidelines and Criteria for Designation (Revised)," for Multicounty Litigation (MCL) designation of New Jersey statecourt litigation involving Daniel's Law compliance matters. Specifically, as set forth in the application, "Plaintiffs [in the litigation] seek to hold a data broker accountable for unlawfully disclosing the home addresses and unpublished home telephone numbers of Covered Persons in violation of New Jersey's Daniel's Law."
The MCL application was submitted by counsel for plaintiffs.
Anyone wishing to comment on or object to this application should provide such comments or objections in writing, with relevant supporting documentation, by January 4, 2026 to:
