Order – Reassigning the Johnson & Johnson (J&J) and Bard Pelvic Mesh Multicounty Litigation (MCL) to Bergen Superior Court Judge Gregg A. Padovano Effective June 1, 2023

It is ORDERED that effective June 1, 2023, the Court's September 13, 2010 Order assigning all pending and future state-court litigation arising out the use of pelvic mesh products manufactured by (1) Ethicon Women's Health and Urology, Gynecare, and/or Johnson & Johnson (the "J&J Litigation") and (2) C.R. Bard, Inc. (the "Bard Litigation") for centralized management (now multicounty litigation) to Atlantic County, as amended by the Court's October 31, 2014 and July 22, 2016 Orders transferring that litigation to the Bergen Vicinage for case management by Superior Court Judge Brian R. Martinotti and thereafter to Superior Court Judge Rachelle L. Harz, is hereby further amended so as to reassign all such matters to Superior Court Judge Gregg A. Padovano in the Bergen Vicinage, with all specific references in those prior orders to Judge Martinotti or Judge Harz to be read as references to Judge Padovano.
