Parental Notification
The Court in Planned Parenthood of Central New Jersey v. Farmer, A-52-99 (August 15, 2000), having held the
Parental Notification for Abortion Act, N.J.S.A. 9:17A-1.1 to -1.12, to be unconstitutional, it is ORDERED that the
Court’s September 8, 1999 Order relaxing the provisions of Rule 5:2-1(a) regarding venue, the Court’s September 22,
1999 Order regarding certain Appellate Division procedures, and the September 22, 1999 Order establishing a special
Appellate Division part are all hereby rescinded effective immediately.
