Re: August 14, 2000 and August 15, 2000 Deemed Legal Holidays-Morris and Sussex Counties

Consistent with Executive Order No. 117, issued on August 14, 2000, in which the Governor declared a State of
Emergency in Morris and Sussex Counties because of hazardous conditions resulting from heavy rainfall and
subsequent flooding;

It is ORDERED nunc pro tunc that on August 14, 2000 and August 15, 2000 the Superior Court Clerk’s offices in
Sussex County were closed for the transaction of public business; and

It is FURTHER ORDERED that in the computation of time periods under the Rules of Court and under any statute of
limitations, these two days on which the Clerk’s offices were closed shall be deemed the same as legal holidays.
