Posted on this page are the 1998-2000 reports of the Supreme Court rules committees. In those reports, the committees
(as listed below) make numerous recommendations to the Supreme Court for rule amendments and other non-rule
administrative actions.
The reports of the following committees are published here for comment in Acrobat PDF format. To view and print

amendments they contain. Please send any such comments by April 17, 2000 to:

Comments on the Committees' reports and recommendations also may be submitted via Internet e-mail to the following
address: Comments_Mailbox@njcourts.gov Please note that the Supreme Court will not consider comments submitted
anonymously. However, comments submitted in response to this Notice will be maintained in confidence if the author
specifically requests confidentiality. In the absence of such a request, the author's identity and his or her comments may
be subject to public disclosure.
The Supreme Court will conduct a hearing on the Committees' reports recommendations on or about May 2, 2000 at a
time and place to be announced in the future. Further notices concerning that hearing will be posted on the Judiciary
website. In addition, comments will be solicited directly from bar associations and other attorney groups. It is
anticipated that the Court will order the adoption of new or amended rules by June, 2000 with those amendments to
become effective September 1, 2000.
