Time Standard for Disbursement of Judgment Creditors' Funds

This notice is to inform the bar that the Judicial Council has approved a time standard for the disbursement of judgment creditors’ funds collected by the Sheriffs. Such funds are to be disbursed no later than thirty days after the date collected. This standard, recommended by the Conference of Civil Presiding Judges and endorsed by the Sheriffs Association, is effective immediately and in all counties.
