Middlesex Vicinage to Celebrate Law Day

The Middlesex Vicinage will host a hybrid Law Day program in the jury assembly room of the Middlesex County Courthouse on Wednesday, May 3 at 9:30 a.m.

This year’s Law Day theme is, “Cornerstones of Democracy: Civics, Civility and Collaboration.”

The New Brunswick High School Choir will sing “The Star-Spangled Banner” and Assignment Judge Michael A. Toto will welcome guests.

Perry Dane, a Rutgers Law School – Camden professor, will give the keynote address. Dane served as a law clerk to U.S. Supreme Court Associate Justice William Brennan and U.S. Appeals Court Chief Judge David Bazelon. He also served on the faculty of Yale Law School for nine years.

The public can view the program on the Judiciary’s public channels page under Middlesex.
