Morris/Sussex Vicinage to Hold 12th Annual Military Appreciation Day Ceremony

The Morris/Sussex Vicinage will recognize employees who have served in the U.S.  military at its 12th annual military appreciation ceremony on Friday, June 13 from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. in courtroom 6 of the  Morris County Courthouse, second floor, 10 Court St., Morristown.

Assignment Judge Stuart A. Minkowitz and Morris County Veterans Services will recognize vicinage judges and employees for their military service.

Municipal Court Judge Peter J. Laemers, a U.S. Army sergeant (E-5), will be the featured speaker.  
The Morris County Sheriff’s Honor Guard will present the colors. Music will be provided by the Mayo Performing Arts Company under the leadership of education director Cathy Roy and musical director Charles Santoro.

The ceremony is open to the public and reservations are not required. The event will be livestreamed at https://www.njcourts.gov/public/channels under the Morris/Sussex tab.
