The Supreme Court invites written comments on the 2024-2026 report of the Professional Responsibility Rules Committee (PRRC) appended to this notice. The report also is available for review and downloading on the Judiciary's website at https://www.njcourts.gov/attomeys/supreme-court-committee-reports.

The Supreme Court will not consider comments submitted anonymously. Thus, those submitting comments by mail should include their name and address ( and those submitting comments by e-mail should include their name and e-mail address). Comments are subject to public disclosure upon receipt.
While this comment period will not have concluded by the date of the Court's scheduled May 18, 2026 in-person public hearing on the other 2024-2026 Rules Committee reports, anyone who wishes to speak on the PRRC report at that public hearing may do so. Instructions on requesting to attend and speak at the public hearing are set forth in my April 15, 2026 notice to the bar.
